We will discuss some of the most skin-friendly herbs for topical products (including herbs to treat specific skin conditions), the best use of solvents to extract our desired herbal constituents, and how to incorporate these herbal infusions into beauty products. Solvents we will cover: water, oil, alcohol, glycerine, and vinegar with extraction tips and a few demonstrations. Colleen will also demonstrate how to create a toner, herbal gel and light face cream, sending everyone home with samples of each! Plus she will share some great DIY formulas and guidelines, so you can go home and get witchy creating your own unique herbal skin care products.
