We will weave a two hoop, egg basket using willow, cattail, watsonia and other locally gathered leaves, twigs and perhaps roots or bark and some manufactured materials,
all of which will be provided. Cost of class is $70. To purchase tickets, please call or visit West County Herb Company during business hours (Thursday- Monday, 11am-5pm).

Maralee has been weaving baskets for 30 years and teaching for about 25 years, in southern Oregon and Northern California. She has taught private classes and at the Northern California Women’s Herbal Symposium and The California School of Herbal Studies, many times in the past 20 years that she’s lived in Sonoma County. Otherwise, Maralee is Grandmother to her family, to the Spirit in all beings and to our precious Mother Earth. She is lifelong artisan, crafting objects with Nature’s gifts. She’s inspired by our mind’s and Spirit’s power to create our lives and abundantly sustain them. She is musician, swimmer, beachcomber, world traveler and adventurer, exploring the edges and containers of life. Her work may be seen at the Artisans’ Coop Gallery in Bodega, CA.
